Pillars have announced that the club have parted ways with Gbenga in a mutual agreement,
FOLO MEDIA report that Gbenga is now in Ilupeju with his family and wants his next job to be in Ilupeju Pillars either being part of the officials or part of the coaching staff so as to stay In the coaching Line.
However, there are not many clubs that are prepared to employ the type of coaching style he wants. Nor are there many clubs that can invest in the team in the way he would like.
Gbenga departs Ilupeju Pillars after 7 months in charge as an interim head coach.
Sunday Ige said in a statement: "We are presently in a rebuild face. We all need to pull together. Everyone has to step up to ensure the highest possible finish for our club and amazing, loyal supporters."
He also said the club is presently contacting managers so as to be in contention of competitions as soon as possible
