ILUPEJU YOUTHS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION PRESS RELEASE
We wish to condemn in strong terms a particular write up by one "Prince" Abiodun Adeyemi alleging a fraudulent act in the process that produce the ne cw Obanla elect; High chief Sunday Ogunsola.
As the national President of Ilupeju Youth Development Association, myself and some other selected youths were close observers throughout the processes that produced the Obanla elect and I can say categorically without mincing words that all the processes were open, transparent and void of any atrocious or odious act. Infact the Ifa consultation was visually recorded including some other processes, nothing was shield in secrecy.
The youth of the town therefore wish to warn anyone behind the disparaging write-up to desist from such ignoble act as any attempt to upturn the peace been enjoyed by inhabitants of the town shall be vehemently opposed. We will also like to put it on record that one of the agents of the so called Prince Adeyemi Abiodun sent to verbally attack our Royal father; the Apeju of Ilupeju Ekiti, had been apprehended and handed over to the police.
We therefore encourage all patriotic sons and daughters of Ilupeju Ekiti in whatever capacity to ensue for love and peaceful coexistence in the town and support our Royal father; Apeju of Ilupeju Ekiti, the Obanla elect, the IDA and the chiefs in their sacrificial quest to make our town greater than it is.
