An exhilarating football match was held between Golden Star Fc and Ilupeju Pillars FC of Ekiti, on 21st April 2022 at 14:00 hours. For the first Appearance of Ilupeju Pillars FC in Ekiti Bet9ja League, Ilupeju Pillars FC won the match over their Opposition. In the end, the final scoreline stood at 0-2 goal even after additional time. The match attracted many spectators, the IYDA PRESIDENT, Egnr Femi Fagbemi along with many other local dignitaries, distinguished guests, and guardians. They all were present in the stadium to witness the thrilling football match. The match was full of vigour and excitement. All the members of both the teams gave the best of their efforts and displayed their excellent skills and performance. Ajiboye Kole Anthony who captained the team during the match, was full of excitement being their first match in the league. Ilupeju Pillars led in the first half of the match by 0-1 which was Scored by Mujeeb Damilola assisted by Alabi Tobi, the last goal being hit by Alabi Tobi. In the next half of the match, Ilupeju Pillars FC held the grip and took over by taking the score to 0-2. Both the teams were coordinating their best to give tough competition to the opponent team. During the match A yellow card was given to Ogunyemi Damilola and Adeleye Sunday for a little contact with an opponent and at the end they were being replaced with another players from the substitute. Other substitution were made to keep the rythm of the game. The Man of the match were being given to Lawal Kehinde by FOLO MEDIA led by Olokan Francis At the end of the match the New Head Coach, Ogunyemi Gbenga and his assistant Abiodun Oluwafemi who was the present Coach For Aita Fc were so happy being their first Match As a Manager, of A local Team In the State.
